The Australasian Bryological Newsletter was first issued in 1979 as a forum for amateur and professional bryologists in Australia and New Zealand. It provides news and information on research, workshops and other bryological activities in the Australasian region. The Newsletter is currently published twice a year, in mid-winter and mid-summer.
